An Enveloping Warmth, Naturally Refined
Shearling is a lambskin leather naturally lined with its fleece, which can be worn as desired, leather side or wool side.
It embodies relaxed elegance—both authentic and sophisticated—while offering remarkable thermal protection in a resolutely contemporary spirit.
Some of our pieces are reversible, revealing in turn the soft feel of wool or the smooth surface of leather. Each creation is designed to magnify the richness of textures, the play of volumes, and the natural fall of the material.
The different qualities that we select:
Merino
A dense and generous shearling, with small, tight curls.
Merino wool lends itself to several finishes: kept in its naturally curly state, flattened for a smoother appearance, or sheared for a clean, contemporary look. Its structured drape makes it an ideal choice for outerwear.
Merinillo
Younger than the Merino, the Merinillo is distinguished by a finer, softer and lighter skin, adorned with smaller and less dense curls.
It can be worked curly, flattened or shorn, depending on the desired effect.
Lacon
Used exclusively flattened in our collections, Lacon is recognized by its extreme delicacy and exceptional flexibility.
It is an airy material, ideal for flowing, close-fitting pieces.
Tuscany
A shearling with character, identifiable by its long, wavy wool.
Its fuller curls give it an opulent and spectacular look, perfect for exceptional creations.
Care & Preservation
Shearling is a living material, which requires regular attention in order to preserve all its beauty and suppleness:
- Protect it from rain and excessive humidity. Although insulating, it remains sensitive to water. In case of splashes, let it dry naturally, away from any heat source.
- Hang it on a wide, sturdy hanger, under a breathable fabric cover. Avoid any compression that could mark the material or crush the fleece.
- Protect it from any contact with cosmetics, perfumes or solvents, which may alter the color and texture of leather and wool.
- Never dry brush it: to restore volume to the fleece, shake it gently or simply let it breathe in the open air.
- Entrust it once a year to a specialist, for maintenance adapted to this exceptional skin type.
Lamb: A Second Skin, Supple, Light and Precious
Lamb is distinguished by its exceptional suppleness, incomparable lightness and a natural grain of rare delicacy.
A noble material by nature, it combines discreet elegance, absolute comfort and thermal performance, while retaining a silky touch and a subtle presence.
Used in our collections for its versatility, it hugs the body with ease and accompanies each of its movements with fluidity.
Its finesse makes it the ideal material for close-fitting pieces, precisely cut coats or soft jackets with a natural drape.
Care & Preservation
As resistant as it may be, lamb remains a living material that requires special attention in order to preserve its softness and shine:
- Protect it from rain, humidity, and excessive heat. In case of accidental contact with water, dab gently without rubbing, then let it dry naturally.
- Avoid prolonged contact with bags or belts, which may mark the surface.
- Store it on a hanger, in a breathable fabric cover, away from direct light.
- Never apply unsuitable cleaning products - even natural ones - to leather.
- For any stain or complete cleaning, entrust your piece to a luxury leather specialist.
